This piece explores the tension between playfulness and violence through the interplay of form and material. The five-pointed star, a shape often linked to ideals of power and influence, is reimagined as something fragmented and distressed. Its sharp lines, softened by wear, create a juxtaposition between structure and fragility, suggesting the erosion of once-solid forms of authority.

At the heart of the composition, a toy gun—innocent yet provocative—introduces an unsettling contrast. The object of childhood play becomes a symbol of latent violence, blending innocence with darker undertones. Through this interaction of shapes and objects, the work suggests how violence can often disguise itself within the familiar and the playful, blurring the boundaries between control, chaos, and play. The star and gun together speak to how form and meaning can shift, reflecting the fluid nature of power and its many guises.
